Ladushki is a Russian language group for children aged between 2 and 4 years old. The class takes place on Fridays term time from 5 to 6 pm. The class consists of “musical” part and of “Russian language” part. Of course, both parts are completely in Russian. In musical part children learn simple songs and dance moves, play musical games. In the Russian language part of the class children learn about the world around them, they learn new words and are encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings in words, improve their spoken language and are gently introduced to Russian letters. It’s a fun, informal and educational class where parents/carers are present.
Russian Childrens Club
Russian children’s club is a Russian language school for school age children in a form of an after school Friday club from 4.40 to 6 pm. We offer groups for different ages and abilities, but, as a general rule, we expect all children to understand and speak Russian when they join. The classes focus on the improvement of spoken Russian, on learning and mastering reading and writing skills and learning Russian grammar and spelling rules in due course. Children also learn songs in Russian and are encouraged to perform at our shows for New Year and for the Welcoming of Spring.
